The folks at a six-year-old, international, financial services-focused membership community are recognizing dozens of executives around the globe, including at least seven folks connected to the asset management business in the U.S.

The LGBTQ Great team recently unveiled their "Top Gamechangers 2024" winners list. The list is part of the organization's ongoing Project 1000 drive, to "spotlight 1000 LGBT+ and supportive allies ... to improve awareness and visibility."

LGBTQ Great's Top Gamechangers 2024 list includes at least seven U.S. fundsters:

Zach Buchwald, chairman and CEO of Russell Investments;

Sara Freedwoman, product reporting analyst at Wellington Management;

Tom Luciano, executive vice president and account manager at Pimco;

Scott Mckay, head of marketing and communications in the Americas for Schroders;

Carlos Oliveira, head of trading analytics and market structures at Brandes Investment Partners;

Becky Poulin, senior vice president of industry analysis and strategy at Natixis Investment Managers; and

Jackie Wagner, portfolio manager at American Century.

"I got involved in American Century's Pride BRG [business resource group] because I wanted to make an impact on developing our culture to be more inclusive. We've seen a tremendous amount of progress since 2020 and a lot of that is due to the Pride BRG," Wagner states.
