In New York City, a veteran marketing ally to fundsters recently moved to the Carpenter Group.

Shelly Danse Carpenter Group Senior Vice President, Strategic Partnerships

Shelly Danse joined Carpenter after Labor day as senior vice president of strategic partnerships, MFWire has learned. Danse most recently served as director of North America for Editions Financial.

A spokesperson with Editions did not immediately return calls for comment.

Danse tells MFWire, "Carpenter is a great creative agency and I'm really thrilled to be working alongside Polly now rather than against her. She's put together a wonderful group that it's really a privilege to play a part in."

"I was hired via Zoom," Danse says regarding the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, "and I didn't meet anyone face-to-face during the hiring process. I also haven't been to our New York office in SoHo yet. Maybe someday."

Prior to her work at both Carpenter and Editions Financial, Danse was managing director of business development at MMB for two years. She also previously worked at Addison as vice president, at Wechsler as senior vice president of business development, and at Standard & Poor's as vice president of national accounts. Danse is an alumna of Hamilton College.
