National resources investing veterans Leigh Goehring and Adam Rozencwajg have joined forces to launch NY-based fund firm, G&R Associates's, first fund, the Goehring & Rozencwajg Resources Fund! This fund is exclusively natural resourced focused, and it is available in institutional and retail class shares.

Unlike some natural resources funds, the G&R fund is not limited to energy only, nor is it "hugging the benchmark," like natural resource funds that take on passive strategy following the S&P North American Natural Resource Index. Instead, this fund has the flexibility to invest across all aspects of natural resources.

Goehring and Rozencwajg both have long tenures in natural resources investing. Goehring has more than two decades of experience with investment management in the natural resource sector, serving as a PM for the Chilton Global Natural Resources Fund for 10 years. Likewise, Rozencwajg has nearly a decade of experience in the industry, much of which was spent working with Goehring on the aforementioned Chilton fund.

G&R Associates is a boutique investment management firm specializing in natural resources. The firm places a strong influence on research at the asset and business-specific level.

ALPS Fund Services, Inc serves as distributor and transfer agent for the new mutual fund. State Street Bank & Trust Company serves as custodian for the fund. Ropes & Gray LLP serves as legal counsel to the fund.
