Hundreds of fundsters gathered last night in midtown Manhattan for the 23rd annual Mutual Fund Industry Awards. For the first time, the event was held at the Cipriani near Grand Central.

-Virtus [profile], "Rising Stars" for Matthew Brown and William Smalley, and "Trustee of the Year" for Phil McLoughlin.
