Alt Shop Hires Four Regional Sales People

Pyxis Capital has hired new Regional Sales Directors in Texas, Illinois, California and the Northeast.

Casey Gage (Texas), Sandie Rodda (Illinois), Terry Riordan (California) and John Caron (Northeast) join a growing team of now 20 sales professionals led by Keith Watts, Managing Director and Head of National Sales, according to Pyxis. Pyxis expects to continue its expansion to a total of 30 sales professionals over the next year.

Pyxis Capital, L.P., Adds Four New Regional Sales Directors



DALLAS, Jan. 16, 2013 -- Pyxis Capital L.P. (“Pyxis”), a leading provider of registered alternative investments, has continued its rapid business expansion, announcing today that it has hired new Regional Sales Directors in Texas, Illinois, California and the Northeast.

Casey Gage (Texas), Sandie Rodda (Illinois), Terry Riordan (California) and John Caron (Northeast) join a growing team of now 20 sales professionals led by Keith Watts, Managing Director and Head of National Sales. Pyxis expects to continue its expansion to a total of 30 sales professionals over the next year.

Based in Houston, Ms. Gage draws on more than 10 years of experience in financial services, including Managing Director at Destra Capital Management and Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley. She began her career with Pioneer Funds where she covered Southern Texas and Louisiana. She graduated from Babson College with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Ms. Rodda, based in Chicago, has previously held a variety of positions within Morgan Stanley including tenure as a Financial Advisor and as a member of Smith Barney Consulting Group. With 14 years experience, she has also worked with the Vanguard Group and Nuveen Investments. Rodda earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Illinois.

Based in Orange County, CA, Mr. Riordan’s broad-based career includes positions with several boutique alternative shops. He began his finance career working for American Funds Distributors covering Southern California. Riordan graduated from The Johns Hopkins University with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science.

Mr. Caron comes to Pyxis from Turner Investment Partners LLC, where he was Director of Distribution. Caron’s decade of experience includes Sales Vice President at John Hancock Funds and Business Banking Representative at Sovereign Bank. He graduated from Stonehill College.

In addition, Pyxis has also relocated and expanded its internal sales team to its home office in Dallas, adding 7 new members to the internal support team. The internal support team is led by Justin O’Brien formerly of Fidelity. His team comes to Pyxis from leading financial services firms, including Behringer Harvard, Merrill Lynch, Met Life and ING.
