Taylor Investment Advisors unveils Taylor XPlor Managed Futures Strategy Fund, an offering that shows the latest attempt of the asset managers to take advantage of the growing clamor for alternative investment strategies.

Though the company has no history among retail-class investors, CEO and co-founder Kevin McDonald, who will co-PM the fund, states that they have worked for a long time with financial intermediaries.

He said their "primary aim has always been to assist advisers in successfully incoporating alternative investment strategies into their portfolios to reduce correlations to traditional equity and fixed income investments, add diversification, with the goal of generating superior returns."

Taylor Investment Advisors manages nearly $400 million of client assets.
