Texas-based Hodges Capital Management is launching its second mutual fund. On October 4 the company filed for registration of the Hodges Small Cap Fund.

Craig Hodges, president of Hodges funds, told the MFWire that he expects the fund to launch in December. The expense ratio on the fund is 140 basis points.

Hodges operates one other fund, The Hodges Fund, a core equity offering. The Hodges Fund was launched in 1992 and currently has about $800 million in assets under management.
