Former presidents Bill Clinton and George W. Bush are scheduled to share the stage this morning at the TD Ameritrade Institutional National Conference at Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando. Their audience includes representatives from 80-plus fund firms that are exhibiting their wares to RIAs.

Tom Bradley, president of TD Ameritrade Institutional, will serve as moderator during the Clinton-Bush discussion.

TD Ameritrade's 14th annual conference kicked off 5 p.m. Wednesday with a networking reception. Putnam Investments, which last fall created a RIA-centric group under Cathy Saunders' leadership, is the platinum sponsor for this year's conference.

The event drew more than 1,200 advisors, up 30 percent from last year, TD Ameritrade executives said.
