The SEC will consider adopting its independent chairman
proposal, among other issues, during a Wednesday meeting at 9:30am EST.
Commissioners were originally set to meet on June 9 to discuss issues related to advisory contract disclosure and short selling of public securities.
Commissioners will consider those issues in addition to its governance proposal for fund boards.
The June 9 meeting was postponed in observance of President Reagan's passing.
The meeting will be webcast on the SEC's
website.
