Rydex will honor innovators impacting the financial advisor community through an annual award created in tribute to Rydex founder, Skip Viragh. This year's Skip Viragh award will be presented in October at the Financial Advisor Symposium Conference in Chicago.

Financial Advisor is the joint sponsor behind the award, and will donate proceeds from a golf tournament during the fall conference to the winner's community Make-A-Wish foundation.

The award winner will be chosen by an advisory board, comprised of industry leaders, people related to Mr. Viragh, and Mr. Viragh's friends, said Annette Bronkesh, spokeswoman for Rydex.
