STI Classic Closes Funds

Effective 30 April 2004 the STI Classic Funds’ Small Cap Value Equity and Variable Trust Funds will be closed to new investors. Trusco Capital Management, Inc. advises the funds. STI will waive all but the shareholder maintenance portion of the funds’ 12-b1 fees for existing shareholders.
