American Century Investments has hired two senior portfolio managers in fixed income investment management. They are: Jim Platz and Alejandro Aguilar.

Platz's responsibilities will include co-managing the American Century Stable Asset Fund. He is also responsible for the design and implementation of stable value investment strategies, wrap negotiations, and client servicing.

Aguilar will manage the American Century Short-Term Government Fund and the mortgage portion of American Century's multi-sector bond portfolios. He's also part of the team that manages government bond funds for American Century.
