A veteran distribution leader fundster recently signed on with a non-profit.

John Charles Carroll
LL Global, Inc.
Head of National Accounts
On Monday, Sean O’Donnell, senior vice president of member relations and sales at Windsor, Connecticut-based LL Global, Inc. (parent of LIMRA and LOMA), confirmed that John Carroll has joined as head of LL Global's national accounts team. Carroll previously served as managing director in intermediary client relations at Epoch Investments before leaving last year.

Carroll joined LL Global this week. There, he will be in charge of a team of relationship managers as the new sales leader for national accounts, and product specialists in a newly-designed integrated sales team structure. The new structure is built around the organization's five-year strategic plan, Compass 2025, which is focused on increasing member engagement.

O'Donnell stated, "Throughout his career, John has focused on developing new processes, building teams and leveraging data to enhance the client experience while improving business results."

Carroll will report directly to O'Donnell.

"We are confident that John will bring the same energy, business acumen and leadership to LL Global," O'Donnell continues, "that will help us serve our members during this pivotal moment in our industry.”

Regarding COVID-19, O'Donnell says the disease "has presented unique challenges for our members as economic and physical conditions have redefined their business operations and goals."

He adds, "It is critical that LL Global not only develop timely and indispensable resources that support our members, but build a dynamic relationship team that can transform our engagement strategy and ensure we deliver unique value to our membership and to the industry we serve."

Prior to his work at both Epoch and LL Global, Carroll was at Allianz Global Investors for eight years. From 1988 to 2008, he was at Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith, Inc. Carroll is an alum of Rutgers University and the Rutgers Business School.
