Meridian Investment Management has brought a new wholesaler on board to help with sales of its ICON mutual funds. Stephen Holmes, head of sales and marketing at Meridian, oversees the wholesaling team.

Bradford C. Davis will cover the northwest United States as a regional vice president at the Greenwood Village, Colorado-based fund firm. He was most recently a wholesaler at Safeco covering a similar region and prior to that he held Seligman Advisors.

Safeco recently put its investment management business -- including its fund unit -- up for sale in order to concentrate on its insurance business.
