A former
Broadridge data and analytics exec who supported fund firms has left the company after working abroad. After four years at the Lake Success, Long Island-based back-office giant, former director of global market intelligence and product manager
Barbara Ferraresi has decided to move on.
A Broadridge spokesperson declined to comment.
Ferraresi specialized in intelligence relating to Asian markets and finance while at Broadridge, and she previously supported mutual fund and ETF shops via analytics and market intelligence. She was based in Singapore towards the end of her time with the company.
As of November, Ferraresi has been taking time off from work in Singapore. She posts that she is not currently searching for a new position. Earlier this month, Ferraresi
wrote, "I had the pleasure to meet lots of great people [at Broadridge] who shared the same passion and supported our mission through thick and thin. I am very proud of what we have achieved together as a community over the years."
One of Ferraresi's former colleagues tells
MFWire, "[Barbara] is looking for a new and different challenge, but she was terrific. She certainly was a big part of what we do globally, and Singapore ... is somewhere she helped our business expand."
Ferraresi served as a product manager at FERI Fund Market Information for six years, which was later acquired by Thomson Reuters. Ferraresi continued to work as a product manager at Reuters for another six years before moving on to Broadridge. She is a graduate of the University of Salford and the Mountbatten Institute.
