A Missouri mutual fund entrepreneur recently hired a Nashville-based distribution veteran for a key role.

This month Darin Pritchett joined Springfield, Missouri-based Pinnacle Tactical Funds as managing director of institutional sales, MFWire has learned. Pritchett now oversees institutional relationships and distribution through broker-dealers, financial advisors, RIAs, and other financial institutions.

Pritchett and Sean McCurry, founder and president of Pinnacle Family Advisors (advisor to the Pinnacle Tactical Funds), did not immediately return calls for comment.

Pritchett most recently served as managing director of enterprise sales at Auburn, California-based Riskalyze and director of distribution at Brentwood, Tennessee-based Luken Investment Analytics. A spokeswoman for Riskalyze was not immediately able to comment.

"Darin's going to do great at Pinnacle Funds because he'll do great wherever he is," Greg Luken, founder and president of Luken Investment Analytics, tells MFWire. He adds that he's "in conversations with people now" about filling Pritchett's shoes.

An alumnus of Kansas State University, Pritchett joined Luken in March 2017, and he joined Riskalyze that July. Prior to that he worked with Hays Advisory and JPMorgan Chase, and he spent more than 17 years at GSAM.
