Week In Preview, February 5-11

Tomorrow in New York City, Craig Pfeiffer and his team will kick off the Money Management Institute's (MMI's) 2018 Distribution Leadership Forum. The two-day, invitation-only event is being held at the New York Athletic Club. Conference sponsors include: Archer, BNY Mellon, Copytalk, Discovery Data, DST, Strategic Insight, and ZD. Performance coach Jason Selk and Wholesaler Masterminds CEO Rob Shore are scheduled to give keynote speeches.

Also tomorrow, Joel Bruckenstein and his team are kicking off the 2018 T3 Advisor Conference. (TX stands for "Technology Tools for Today".) The four-day event is being held at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Speakers expected to appear include: Tom Bradley, former TD Ameritrade bigwig; advisor-blogger Josh Brown, known online as the Reformed Broker; J.D. Bruce, president of Abacus Wealth Partners; Mark Bruno, associate publisher of InvestmentNews; Rich Cancro, founder and CEO of AdvisorEngine; Eric Clarke, founder of Orion Advisor Services; Walter Clarke, formerly of Oxford Investment Partners; Karyn DeJong and Rahul Ravikrishnan, both of Morningstar; Ric Edelman, co-founder of Edelman Financial Services; Danielle Fava, director of product strategy for TD Ameritrade Institutional; Brian Hamburger, founder of MarketCounsel; Kevin Hughes, executive vice president of enterprise sales for MoneyGuidePro; Aaron Klein, CEO of Riskalyze; Jess Liberi, vice president of product management for eMoney Advisor; Tim Morello, vice president of IT product management at Fidelity Institutional; Magdalena Ramada Sarasola, senior economist at Willis Towers Watson; and Bob Veres, author. On Wednesday evening in New York City, Pageant Media's Fund Intelligence team will host their 2018 Fund Technology and WSL Awards at the Yale Club.

On Thursday evening, also in New York City, Pageant's Fund Intelligence team will host their 2018 Private Asset Management Awards at 583 Park Avenue.

Friday is the deadline for submitting nominations for the Mutual Fund Industry Awards. Pageant's Fund Intelligence will recognize the winners at their awards' 25th anniversary celebration on April 12 in New York City.
