Last week more than 2,000 advisors and their allies gathered for
Charles Schwab's 27th annual
Impact conference, this time at McCormick Place in Chicago. The conference wrapped up on Friday with one final round of breakout sessions and brunch. The closing keynote sessions featured Chicago Cubs baseball operations president
Theo Epstein being interviewed by a surprise guest, famed historian
Doris Kearns Goodwin.
Before attendees grabbed their boxed lunches and headed for the airports, the Schwab team revealed the planned time and date for Impact 2018: October 28-31 in Washington, D.C.
In case you missed the conference last week and want to catch up, here's links to the rest of
MFWire's coverage of Impact 2017:
The industry events calendar is understandably quiet this week, so
MFWire is taking a break from its regular "Week In Preview" column. The
MFWire team wishes you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!
