Multiple retirement plan industry events are going on this week in the Midwest and in Gotham, and later this week fixed income veterans will also gather in the Big Apple.

Yesterday the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA) team kicked off their NAPA Connect conference at theWit in Chicago. The three-day event, which is geared towards women who are 401(k) plan advisors (KPAs), features a number of speakers, including: Terry Anderson, executive vice president of Plan Sponsor Consultants; Mary Caballero, managing partner of impact benefits and retirement at LPL; Jenny Evans, founder and CEO of PowerHouse Performance; Nora Everett, president of retirement and income solutions at Principal and chairman of Principal Funds; Beverly Flaxington, human behavior coach and co-founder of the Collaborative; Carol Geremia, president of MFS Institutional Advisors; Amy Glynn, managing partner of GRP Advisor Alliance; Anne Greenwood, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Pax Ellevate Management; Lisa Kottler, senior vice president of retirement services at NFP; Anne Lester, head of U.S. retirement solutions for global investment management solutions at J.P. Morgan Asset Management; Christina Marschinke, senior vice president of product management at LPL; Emily Gaul Minnich, senior wealth strategy associate and senior retirement plan consultant at the UBS G2 Financial Group; Janine Moore, principal at Peak Financial Group; Julie Norseen, McKinsey; Kathleen Roche, independent consultant; Jania Stout of Fiduciary Plan Advisors; Marcy Supovitz, principal at Boulay Donnelly & Supovitz Consulting Group; Mary Lou Wattman, co-founder of 3ethos and CEO and president of 1920West; and Lynn Weirich, Business Financial Group. Also yesterday, the Sheridan Road Financial team started their annual Kohler Conference at the American Club in Kohler, Wisconsin. The Northbrook, Illinois-based, LPL-affiliated shop gathers KPAs for the three-day event.

Also yesterday, the Crain Communications team kicked off their Pensions & Investments Global Future of Retirement conference at the Conrad in New York City.
