NICSA just named
Theresa Hamacher's permanent successor.
Today the mutual fund industry operations-focused trade group
confirmed the hiring of
Jim Fitzpatrick as president, effective yesterday. Fitzpatrick succeeds interim NICSA president
Liz Jackson who
stepped in after Hamacher left this summer.
An alumnus of Assumption College, Fitzpatrick previously worked at First Data, the Boston Company, and Goldman Sachs. He most recently served as president of Executive Business Coaching, Inc.
George Batejan, chair of NICSA's board and executive vice president and global head of operations and technology at Janus, describes Fitzpatrick as "a proven leader having shown his experience and vision for the group's future as a previous board member."
Dan Houlihan, vice chair of NICSA's board and executive vice president of global fund services North America at Northern Trust, praises Fitzpatrick as "an ideal leader to further raise the prominence" of NICSA.
