Ticker Magazine will get its mutual fund data from
Standard & Poor's. The New York City-based fund tracker said its will provide its fund database with detailed information and performance figures on over 14,000 U.S. mutual funds to the magazine with a circulation of 100,000, said Phil Edwards, managing director of Global Fund Research at S&P.
Manish Shah, publisher of the magazine said that the decision to hire S&P was made in response to its readers' need for quality and timely mutual fund data. "Standard & Poor's ability to track the holdings of over 14,000 funds allows Ticker to offer our subscribers a deeper picture of a fund's investment activity," he said.
