American Skandia has beefed up its web offerings for investment professionals so they may view account values for variable annuities and mutual funds online. The firm has grown its relationship with DST Systems in order to offer this new feature. The service utilizes the DST Visions solution.

"There has been considerable interest from IPs in being able to view account values for both the VA and mutual fund product lines," explained Lincoln Collins, senior vice president and coo at American Skandia. "In keeping with our company efforts to provide technological advances that will improve efficiency and reporting capabilities for the Investment Professionals that sell our products, this further enhancement of our relationship with DST Vision is yet another example of American Skandia's competitive edge and leadership."

Vision is an account aggregation service. The partnership with American Skandia means that financial advisors who utilize the service will be able to view consolidated listings of their clients' variable annuity and mutual fund accounts.
