Kasina has tapped two new hires for its consulting team. The New York City-based consulting firm specializing in asset management distribution signed on Sujatha Sivakumaran as a senior managing consultant, confirmed Steven Miyao, kasina's CEO.

Sivakumaran was most recently part of BlackRock's Marketing & Strategy group for retail investors. Earlier in her career she was a research manager for the Corporate Executive Board's (CEB) financial services practice.

She is the second senior managing consultant to sign on with kasina this year. In February, Rubesh Jacobs joined the consulting firm from Booz Allen Hamilton.

The second new hire is Andrea VanZile. She takes the title of junior research analyst and will support kasina’s research services. She comes to kasina from The Church Pension Group.

Miyao said that the firm is seeing clients asking with help on how to rethink their business fundamentals and evolve their business models to ensure long-term viability, stated Miyao.
