NewRiver has lassoes a new executive to head its sales and marketing efforts to mutual fund companies, insurers and banks. Kim King will join the firm as managing director, Global Investor Services. NewRiver provides what it terms as e-fulfillment services and delivers prospectuses and other shareholder information through the Internet.

King joins the Andover, Massachusetts-based firm from her own consulting firm. She had been president of The King Company. Prior to that she was a divisional vice president of Prudential Investments, where she specialized in the insurer's third-party investment business.

Executives at NewRiver were not immediately available for comment for this story.
