PIMCO's
Pacific Investment Management has appointed
Douglas Hodge as director of the Asia-Pacific region, a newly created post.
Hodge, 43, executive vice president, will be responsible for all marketing and client services for PIMCO in the region, reporting to
James Muzzy, PIMCO co-founder, managing director and head of PIMCO Global Advisors.
Hodge has been with the firm for 11 years and had previously been involved in building out PIMCO's marketing efforts in the Asia-Pacific region. Muzzy said that the firm would be working to expand its distribution of investment products and services, with further commitments of people and resources.
