as a sub-adviser to two of its mutual funds, the SEI Institutional Managed Trust -- Small Cap Value Fund and the SEI Institutional Investments Trust -- Small Cap Fund.

Security Capital Global Capital Management Group will act as a REIT specialist to provide the funds with REIT exposure within the small cap area of the market.

"A classic value investment opportunity is present in the public real estate securities market where many companies are trading at significant discounts to the cash flow-based value of their underlying portfolios and operating potential," said Anthony Manno, Jr., managing director of SCGCM.

"Real estate is significantly cheaper on Wall Street than it is in the robust private investment market," added Manno. "Except in isolated situations, underlying market fundamentals remain solid and company financial profiles are sound."
