Evergreen Funds has introduced a concentrated equity fund today. The Evergreen Premier 20 Fund, open to all caps and sectors, holds between twenty and forty stocks selected by the fund's four managers. The fund is intended to appeal to investors interested in a non-diversified product geared at long-term growth.

"Premier 20 is a true 'stock pickers' fund," said Dennis Ferro, Evergreen's chief investment officer, in a statement.

Don Bisson leads the management team of twenty-five managers and analysts. Maureen Cullinane, Patricia Bannan and Liu-Er Chen co-manage the fund.

Boston-based Evergreen currently has $87 billion in assets under management.
