Stoddard Rowley has leaped from Blue Frog Solutions to Mercatus' Financial Research Corporation, where he was named vice president of sales on Tuesday, effective immediately.
Todd Haedrich, who joined FRC last year as senior vice president and director of business development and marketing, reports to Rowley.
Most recently, Rowley was vice president of sales at Blue Frog Solutions, a Pamplano, Florida-based software company that got its start serving the mutual fund and government industries. Prior to Blue Frog, Rowley's resume includes stints as vice president of sales at New River Incorporated and senior vice president of sales at Thomson Financial, First Call. According to the company's press release, Rowley's particular area of focus has been rebuilding sales teams.
Also on Tuesday, FRC said it promoted Larry Petrone to Director of Research and Analysis, expanding his scope of responsibilities beyond that of his previous role as director of investment research. As previously reported by the MFWire in October 2009, Petrone joined FRC in September from WR Hambrecht as a consultant and was named director of investment research following the departure of Maurice Leger in October.
