Beacon Hill Ups its Headcount by Three

Reported by Daniel Tovrov

Beacon Hill Fund Services has added three employees, bringing its staff count to 13. Jeanne Booth, Steve Hoffman, and Robin Baxter have all joined the firm in the last two months.

Booth supports the chief compliance officer and chief financial officer. She came from Citi, and her career includes management and client-servicing positions with global fund servicing organizations, public and private accounting firms, and industry-specific business management and consulting companies.

Hoffman works in the principal underwriter and distribution services area of Beacon Hill. He previously worked for another financial services firm.

Baxter leads Beacon Hill's governance and regulatory oversight services business. She comes from the law firm Squire, Sanders and Dempsey. She reports directly to Scott Englehart, Beacon Hill founder and president.

In an interview with The MFWire, Englehart said the firm, a subsidiary of publicly traded investment manager Diamond Hill Investment Group, plans on adding more staff.

"As our business grows, we'll keep adding people. There's a large pool of talent in Columbus, Ohio," Englehart told The MFWire.
