The Globe Smiles on Fidelity Cash Reserves

by: Neil Anderson, Managing Editor

Bob Litterst and his Fidelity Cash Reserves fund gained some positive press this morning. Boston Globe guest columnist Steven Syre selected the fund as the 2008 "Boston Capital Fund Manager of the Year" for "navigating unprecedented market upheaval" and earning a near-top-of-class return. The fund held $134.6 billion in November (up 20 percent) and earned 2.86 percent year-to-date, as of December 26

Peter Crane of Crane Data and Jim Lowell of the Fidelity Investor newsletter each gained a little positive ink, too, by offering their thoughts on Fidelity Cash Reserves.

Past winners include Ken Heebner's CGM Focus Fund and Dan Rice's BlackRock Global Resources Fund.
