Two Regional Sales Execs Join Schroders

The New York-based asset manager just unveiled new hires for institutional and intermediary sales teams. On Monday Schroders confirmed that Shaun Levesque and Michael Jenacova have signed on as institutional sales director for the East Coast and Southeast intermediary sales director.

Jenacova most recently served as a senior regional vice president for DWS Scudder Distributors, where he sold mutual funds and structured products in Georgia and North and Central Florida through broker-dealers, and he is also a SunTrust Investment Services alum. He reports to Carter Sims, head of US intermediary distribution for Schroders, and is based in Atlanta.

Levesque was a founder and managing partner at hedge fund of funds Twin Lights Capital and is also an alum of Baring Asset Management, Fidelity and Interactive Data Corp. He reports to Dean Allen, head of US institutional distribution for Schroders, and is based in Boston.

Schroders Adds Key Sales Executives

- New Hires Demonstrate Sales Growth in North America -

NEW YORK, June 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Schroders, the $259 billion* global asset manager, today announced two new hires as part of the firm's North American institutional and intermediary business expansion, which includes its subadvisory, broker-dealer, financial advisor and DCIO distributions. Shaun Levesque has been hired as Institutional Sales Director responsible for the US East Coast, will be based in Boston and report to Dean Allen, Head of US Institutional Distribution. Michael Jenacova has been hired as Sales Director, Southeast, will be based in Atlanta and report to Carter Sims, Head of US Intermediary Distribution. Mr. Levesque and Mr. Jenacova will be joining Schroders sales force as the firm continues to solidify its market coverage and presence in key geographic regions.

Shaun Levesque joins Schroders from Twin Lights Capital, a Hedge Fund of Funds where he was a Founder and Managing Partner. Prior to Twin Lights, Shaun was at CDC IXIS Asset Management Associates as President and Chief Executive Officer of CDC IXIS Associates and Executive Vice President of CDC IXIS Asset Management, North America. He also held positions at Baring Asset Management, Fidelity Investments and Interactive Data Corp.

Michael Jenacova joins from DWS Scudder Distributors, Inc. where he was Senior Regional Vice President responsible for mutual fund and structured product sales to wire houses and broker dealers in the Georgia and North and Central Florida region. Prior to that, he was First Vice President, SunTrust Investments Services, Inc. having spent nine years with several responsibilities including developing a Retirement Education/ IRA Rollover Program and Mutual Fund and SMA product distribution.
