Bowne & Co. is unifying its financial communications and marketing & business communications operations in order to better service clients. William Penders has been named as the president of the joint operation. Prior to this appointment, Penders was president of Bowne's financial communications division.

Bowne & Co., Inc. William P. Penders, 46, has been named President, Bowne & Co., Inc. and will be responsible for sales and service operations across all of Bowne's classes of service.
