It's off to Florida for AMVESCAP PLC vice chairman, Robert H. Graham. Today it was annouced that he will retire from the company. Graham was one of the co-founders of AIM Investments in 1976, which merged with INVESCO in 1997 to form AMVESCAP. He has served as a director of AMVESCAP since 1997. We'll drink a mai-tai for him.
AMVESCAP PLC (NYSE:AVZ - News; LSE:AVZ - News; TSX:AVZ - News) today announced that Robert H. Graham has decided to step down as vice chairman of the Board of Directors and retire from the company.

Bob Graham was one of the co-founders of AIM Investments in 1976, which merged with INVESCO in 1997 to form AMVESCAP. He has served as a director of AMVESCAP since 1997 and vice chairman of the Board since 2001. He has served as a member of the Board of Governors and the Executive Committee of the Investment Company Institute and currently serves as chairman of ICI Mutual Insurance Company.
