Turner Names Chief Marketer

Turner Investment Partners has tapped a new chief marketing officer. The Berwyn, Pennsylvania-headquartered fund firm promoted Glenn A. Dever to the newly-created post of chief marketing officer. He reports to Robert E. Turner, chairman and chief investment officer.

Dever, 42, will oversee Turner's client-service, marketing, and sales teams. The firm manages $15 billion in assets and offers institutional accounts and managed accounts in addition to its mutual fund products.

Before the promotion, Dever had served as director of institutional distribution at Turner.

Dever joined Turner in 1997 from Delaware Investment Advisors where he was vice president of client services. Prior to that, he was a vice president and senior consultant at New England Pension Consultants.
