Tuesday, January 11, 2005 Fido Searches for RIA Group Head Twenty-five year Fidelity veteran Jay Lanigan, head of firm's RIA group, is calling it quits. Lanigan will leave Fidelity on January 21, reported Reuters . Jim MacGilvray, executive vice president of Fidelity Brokerage, will take the reins until a permanent replacement is found. The firm is "undertaking a thorough executive search," said Vin Loporchio, Fidelity spokesman, adding that the firm is "towards the beginning" of the search process.
