Janus Unit Reports Strong Inflows

Janus Capital Group may be hurting, but one of its units is doing just fine. Enhanced Investment Technologies, or INTECH, has raised $1.4 billion in new assets so far this quarter, Janus officials say.

INTECH officials expect to have $21 billion in assets by the year-end, according to a Reuters report. Last year the unit had $12 billion in assets.

Janus owns 77.5 percent of INTECH. The unit accounts for some 15 percent of Janus' total assets under management, pegged at $127.8 billion.
