Thursday, December 18, 2025 7 Fund Firms Shine In Manhattan Seven fund firms won big in the Big Apple earlier this month at an awards show from the folks at an FA-focused trade publication. On December 4, Touchpoint Markets' ThinkAdvisor team revealed and honored the winners of their 2025 Luminaries Awards at a gala at the New York Hilton Midtown in New York City. Nearly 700 nominations were whittled down to 151 individual and firm winners across a host of categories, and the winners were celebrated at a cocktail party, dinner, and awards ceremony. This was the fifth annual iteration of the awards. Among fundsters, Katie Koch of TCW won CEO of the year, and Alexandra Wilson-Elizondo of Goldman Sachs Asset Management won chief investment officer of the year. Margaret Farquharson of Nationwide won a "Next-Gen Rising Stars" award, while Seema Shah of Principal Asset Management won thought leader of the year. At a firm level, Ocean Park Asset Management won an award for "excellence in marketing and PR." F/m Investments was recognized for "product or service innovation."
