Thursday, April 22, 2004 MLIM CIO Takes Over Fund Bob Doll, president and global CIO of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers, has taken over Richard Boon's duties as manager of the American fund. Boon and four others were removed from the fund recently. Boon has left the firm, but the four analysts may seek other positions at MLIM. Control of the fund will be handed over to the U.S. equities team based in Princeton. Kurt Schansinger, a managing director will take over Boon's institutional responsibilities.
