The folks at Dimensional Fund Advisors (DFA), VanEck, and 11 other fund firms won big at a trade publication's tenth annual awards show last night.

ETFS Capital's ETF.com team hosted their 2024 ETF.com Awards. For a second year running, the celebration was held at Tribeca Rooftop in New York City. The awards spread across 17 categories.

"The event acknowledged a year of continued growth and innovation for exchange-traded funds, including niche areas like artificial intelligence and covered-call strategies, reflecting the expanding variety of investment options available through ETFs," writes ETF.com's Kent Thune.

DFA led the winners pack this year, again winning two awards: "Best New International/Global Fixed Income ETF" (for the Dimensional Global Credit ETF, DGCB) and "ETF Issuer of the Year." And Jan van Eck, CEO of his eponymous firm, won the "Lifetime Achievement Award."

Other ETF shops that won last night include: AllianceBernstein, American Century's Avantis, Capital Group, Fidelity, Morgan Stanley Investment Management, Pacer, Roundhill, Sprott, Themes, Vanguard, and DWS' Xtrackers. Other (non-fund firm) winners included: the ETF Institute, Nasdaq, and Women in ETFs (WE).
