Franklin Resources, Inc. (dba Franklin Templeton) turned 75 during the week of November 14, 2022. Jenny Johnson, president and CEO of the San Mateo, California-based firm, celebrated by ringing the NYSE opening bell on November 15.

The Franklin Templeton team also organized charitable initiatives around their 75th anniversary, including: $25,000 donations to three employee-chosen organizations; the planting of 7,500 trees around the world; hosting stocking stuffing and holiday card writing events for deployed troops and veterans currently in hospitals; hosting a blood drive; helping renovate a local school; distributing blankets to the homeless; hosting a winter coat drive; organizing a Thanksgiving food drive; donating sports equipment and musical instruments to students at a local reformatory school; and packing food for a hunger-fighting organization.
