$1.14T In 11 Months


With one month left in the year, ETFs had already beaten then annual inflows record as of the end of the last month, according to the latest data from an ETF research shop.

As of November 30, worldwide ETF net inflows for 2021 stood at a record $1.14 trillion, the ETFGI team reports today. That's up 70 percent from the first 11 months of 2020, and it's 49 percent higher than ETFs' record inflows for all of 2020.

$788.95 billion of those 2021 inflows have gone into equity ETFs and ETPs, also a record and 3 percent higher than total ETF net inflows for all of last year.

ETFs and ETPs worldwide brought in $97.44 billion in net inflows last month, down 16 percent from October. 41 percent of those November inflows went into just 20 funds.

Despite the continued inflows, worldwide ETF and ETP AUM actually slipped 0.6 percent last month to $9.92 trillion.
