Bathon Promotes One Analyst and Hires Another

Neil Bathon is making a couple of changes to his team.

Yesterday, Bathon, managing partner of Fuse Research Network, confirmed that he has promoted research analyst Will Baun to associate director of research. Bathon also confirmed that Alex Ellwanger has joined the Needham, Massachusetts research and consulting ally to asset managers as an analyst.

Bathon lauds Baun as "a research rock star." Rick Ledbury, director at Fuse, highlights Baun's "client-first mentality," "deep industry knowledge," and "relentless drive."

"This is a well-deserved promotion," Bathon states.

And Bathon praises Ellwanger for his "intellectual curiosity." Ledbury puts the hiring of Ellwanger in the context of the firm's "commitment to scouting talented individuals."

Baun joined Fuse in 2018. Prior to that he worked with One Charles Private Wealth, Charles Schwab Advisor Services, Cerulli Associates, and Telerik. He is an alumnus of UMass Amherst.

Ellwanger most recently served as a financial analyst for corporate financial planning analysis at CVS Health. Prior to that, he worked as an FA at Merrill Lynch. He is an alumnus of Bryant University.
