An Ex-Funds Network Chief Shifts

As of this month, a longtime executive at Boston-based Fidelity Investments has moved into a new position at Fidelity Institutional.

Carolyn Clancy
Fidelity Institutional
Executive Vice President, Head of Strategy, Analytics and Market Readiness
Carolyn Clancy most recently served as executive vice president and head of the broker-dealer segment at Fidelity Investments. She was in the role, part of Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions, from July 2017 to this month, when she was named executive vice president and head of strategy, analytics, and market readiness at Fidelity Institutional. A company spokesperson confirmed Clancy's recent shift.

Clancy did not immediately return calls for comment.

Prior to her work with both Fidelity Investments and Fidelity Institutional, Clancy served as executive vice president of Fidelity's FundsNetwork from 2011 to 2017. She was executive vice president of customer strategy and individual retirement products from 2007 to 2011, and vice president and senior vice president of product and marketing from 1999 to 2007. Clancy is an alumna of Assumption College, and received her MBA from the Babson College Franklin W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
