A spokesperson from Invesco did not immediately return a call for comment.

Triplett's departure comes as Invesco is undergoing many changes in the wake of its May acquisition of OpFunds.

An Illinois State University alumnus, Triplett has spent nine years of his professional career at Invesco. Prior, he served as a regional vice president of Van Kampen Investments at Morgan Stanley Investment Management. (Van Kampen was acquired my Invesco.)
