Week In Preview, February 4-10


This morning, the team at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG), as planned, released their Q4 2018 earnings. President and CEO Nate Dalton and chief financial officer Jay Horgen are hosting AMG's earnings call.

Also today, the Legg Mason team will release their fiscal Q3 2019 earnings after the market closes. Joe Sullivan, chairman and CEO, will subsequently host the company's earnings call.

Tomorrow morning, before the market opens, the Janus Henderson Group team will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Four hours later, management will host the company's earnings call.

Also tomorrow, before the market opens, the team at Ivy parent Waddell & Reed will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Management will host the company's earnings call after the market opens.

Also tomorrow, after the market closes, the Manning & Napier team will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Management will then host an earnings call.

Also tomorrow after the market closes, the team at Voya Investment Management parent Voya Financial team will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Management will host an earnings call on Wednesday morning after the market opens.

On Wednesday, the TD Ameritrade Institutional team will kick off their 2019 LINC conference for RIAs. The three-day event is being held at the Grand Hyatt in San Diego. Featured speakers scheduled to appear include: Dan Allison, president of Brokers Clearing House; Ron Carson, founder and CEO of Carson Group; Martin Eberhard, co-founder and former CEO of Tesla; Ric Edelman, chairman and co-founder of Edelman Financial Services; Pascal Finette, co-founder of Radical Ventures; Jenny Fleiss, co-founder and CEO of Jetblack and co-founder of Rent the Runway; David Goggins, retired Navy SEAL and endurance athlete; Robert Herjavec of Shark Tank fame; Tim Hockey, president and CEO of TD Ameritrade; Denise Karkos, chief marketing officer of TD Ameritrade; Tom Nally, president of TD Ameritrade Institutional; Platon, portrait photographer; Julie Rice, founder of Soul Cycle and vice president of brand at WeWork; Walter Robb, former co-CEO of Whole Foods; and Andy Rothman, investment strategist at Matthews Asia. Also Wednesday, Pageant Media's Fund Intelligence team will host their Fund Technology and WSL Awards 2019 ceremony at the Lotte New York Palace in New York City.

Also Wednesday, after the market closes, the team at PGIM parent Prudential Financial will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Senior management will host an earnings call on Thursday morning after the market opens.

On Thursday, Pageant's Fund Intelligence team will host their Private Asset Management Awards 2019 ceremony at 583 Park Avenue in New York City.

Also on Thursday, before the market opens, the team at Great-West Lifeco (parent of Putnam's parent) will release their Q4 2018 earnings. Management will host an earnings call that afternoon, before the market closes.

On Sunday the informa team will kick off their 2019 Inside ETFs conference. The four-day event will be held at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida. Keynote speakers scheduled to appear on day one include Ric Edelman (see LINC paragraph above) and Donna Brazile, former chair of the Democratic National Committee.

Also on Sunday, the American Bankers Association (ABA) team will kick off their ABA Wealth Management and Trust Conference. The three-day event will be held at the Marriot Marquis in San Francisco. Featured speakers on Sunday will include Mike Durbin, president of Fidelity Institutional, and Ben Sorenson, vice president of training at Optimum Associates.
