Tomorrow the Money Management Institute (MMI) team will host the 2018 MMI Legal & Compliance Seminar at Morgan Lewis & Bockius' offices in New York City. The event is co-chaired by Leah Buenaventura, director and assistant general counsel at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Daniel Moonay, managing director and senior counsel at BlackRock.

On Wednesday night the ICR team will host their annual "Summer Soiree" media cocktail party, this time on the rooftop of the Gramercy Park Hotel in New York City.

On Thursday the MMI team will host their 2018 MMI Alternative Investments Forum at Thomson Reuters' offices in the Big Apple. The theme of the event is "partnering in a new world of alternative investments," and the co-chairs are Jeremy Beal, managing director and head of alternative investments for wealth management at Morgan Stanley, and Paul Weisenfeld, director of national accounts and alternative investments at Legg Mason.

On the defined contribution side of the business, the ASPPA Benefits Council of Chicago and 401(k) plan advisor (KPA) shop Sheridan Road are both hosting events this week. Our sister publication, 401kWire, has more details.
