A Retired Fidelity Ops Vet Dies at 73

A retired Fidelity [profile] operations veteran of ten years died earlier this month.

Mary Cartwright (nee Corbett) passed away on Monday, November 6 at the age of 73, the Revere Journal reports, shortly after the death of her first cousin, Peggy Long. Cartwright worked at Boston-based Fidleity from 1987 to 1997 and served as assistant vice president of operations.

Cartwright was born in Revere, Massachusetts and had six siblings. After retiring from Fidelity in 1997, she worked as an operations manager at Chelsea Clock. Her husband, Edward, died in 2011, and she moved to Derry, New Hampshire with son, Ronald.

Cartwright has two other sons, Michael and David. She buried at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park in Peabody. In lieu of flowers, the family is directing donations to the New England Center & Home for Veterans in Boston and to Community Caregivers in Londonderry.
