Monday, August 25, 2003 American Century Seeks Wholesalers American Century is reportedly hiring up to five wholesalers by the end of the year. The new positions will be located in the north east and report to David Larrabee, a senior vice president. The Kansas City-based firm is planning the hires as part of an effort to sell more funds through advisors. The firm currently has 11 external wholesalers, according to an industry source. Executives at the firm hope to boost that number to 32 supporting broker-dealer sales over the coming 24 months. It will also be hiring internal wholesalers to support the new positions.
