Nally Helps 1,700 Advisors LINC Up In Orlando


Today 1,700 advisors and 1,500 of their allies are converging in the Sunshine State for TD Ameritrade's 20th annual national conference for RIAs.

Tom Nally, president of TD Ameritrade Institutional, and his team at the RIA custodian are hosting about 3,200 people at their conference at the Orlando World Center Marriott. 250 firms are exhibiting at the conference, and 26 college and universities are sending undergraduates and program directors.

Pre-conference sessions will take place all day today, and the official conference kicks off at 5pm tonight with the grand opening of the exhibit hall. Fred Tomzyk, president and CEO of all of TD Ameritrade, and Nally will kick off the sessions tomorrow morning. Sessions will continue all day tomorrow and Friday, and the conference will wrap up Friday night with the Barenaked Ladies performing at the LINC-A-PALOOZA party.

The headline speakers on the conference schedule include: CNN political analyst Paul Begala, Eurasia Group president Ian Bremmer; Fox News political analyst Tucker Carlson, former CIA and NSA director Michael Hayden, author Sally Hogshead, StoryCorps founder David Isay, Fortalice Solutions founder and CEO Theresa Payton, and Olympic swimmer Dara Torres.
