Bill Gross Apologizes

I guess this is the point where he sends a bottle of scotch or box of cigars or something.

Pimco [profile] co-founder and chief investment officer Bill Gross has stepped back from a Tweet last week blasting Carl Icahn for his investor activism against Apple, according to the New York Post.

CNN also delved into the spat.

In the Tweet, as resorted by Benzinga, Gross had declared:

Icahn should leave #Apple alone & spend more time like Bill Gates. If #Icahn’s so smart, use it to help people not yourself.

His almost apology came Friday in the form of another Tweet:

By the way, I should spend more TIME like Bill Gates too — we all should.

That'll work.
